SCARPERIA, Italy – La Marzocco presented Leva & Modbar at Sigep 2018: La Marzocco, leader in espresso machine design and innovation, took part in Sigep from January 20th to 24th in Rimini, Italy.
For the first time at this trade-show, the Tuscan manufacturer exhibited the product innovation of the LEVA – its new lever machine – at Pavilion D3 | Stand 35.
La Leva is a revolutionary espresso machine that has reinvented the historic lever model with improvements in terms of ergonomics, aesthetics, temperature stability and extraction. It played center stage throughout all five days of the show, offering baristas and industry professionals a hands-on experience.
In addition to the Leva, Sigep guests had the opportunity to enjoy the True Artisan Café on the Modbar: an international brand that makes beautifully designed modular, under-counter brewing equipment for specialty coffee pioneers.
During this edition of the True Artisan Café, several Italian roasters exhibited their coffees through the preparation of three recipes: espresso, filter coffee and Signature Drink.
The goal was to enhance quality coffee and its extraction methods, the professionalism and experience of the barista and roaster while encouraging interaction with the customer.
Last but not least, a “La Marzocco Home” area was set up, recreating a kitchen environment with the iconic Linea Mini for fine coffee enthusiasts at home.
