LONDON – Marex Spectron sees a supply surplus of 5 million bags in CY 2018/19 driving by a bumper crop in Brazil.
This would follow a global deficit for CY 2017/18 estimated at 3.3 million bags, the coffee broker based in London said in a report.
The Brazilian crop is forecast at 61.0 million bags, up from 50.0 million in 2017/18.
