DENVER, U.S. – Marley Coffee announced new distribution with the addition of 206 stores in the Arizona region, through the Safeway and Albertsons banners. The Safeway and Albertsons stores will carry four Marley Coffee roasts in both 8oz bags and RealCup single serve capsules, which are compatible with most Keurig® K-Cup machines.
The capsules feature the company’s innovative EcoCup format, an easy to recycle capsule that will dramatically reduce the amount of waste in comparison to that produced by traditional capsules.
The new distribution adds to the company’s footprint at Albertsons, where it is currently distributed at Albertsons Northwest, Albertsons Southern, Shaw’s, Acme Markets, and Jewel Osco.
It also expands the company’s presence within Safeway, where the coffee is distributed in the Denver, Eastern, Norcal, Northwest, Texas and Southern California divisions.
Brent Toevs, CEO of Marley Coffee, said, “We are delighted and proud to have a higher profile within one of the largest supermarket chains in North America with the addition of these stores in Arizona.
Buyers are noting our positive reception by shoppers looking for great-tasting, sustainable coffee with a cause, and are putting us on the shelf in more regions. We are confident we will continue the momentum of achieving new distribution with retail partners all across the US.”
Marley Coffee and RealCup® have no affiliation with Keurig® Inc. or the K-Cup®.
