MILAN, Italy – The Assembly of CONFIDA – Italian Vending Association, elected Massimo Trapletti President for the next four years.

Massimo Trapletti, 56 years-old, from Bergamo, pursued a career in the name of vending.
Starting in 1992 he led Bianchi Industry, one of the leading brands in the production of vending machines and professional coffee machines, acquired in 1976 by his father Angelo, who was already the owner and President of the glorious Bianchi Biciclette brand.
In 2007 the Trapletti family sold Bianchi Industry, which at the time had a total revenue of about 100 million of euros, and Massimo Trapletti became CEO, between 2008 and 2014, of IVS Italia SpA, the leading operator in Italy.
In July 2014 the Trapletti family acquired the Bianchi again, which had meanwhile entered into a crisis, and Massimo Trapletti returned to his leadership as Chairman and Managing Director, bringing it back to success, focusing on new technologies and attention to changes in consumers’ tastes and extending its activity to the ho.re.ca (Hotellerie, Restaurant, Cafè) with the acquisition of one of the most representative brands in the market of professional coffee machines: Brasilia.
The CONFIDA Assembly also elected the other representatives for the next four years: the President of the Operators Company Pio Lunel, the President of the Group of Manufacturers of Vending Machines and Accessories Roberto Pellegrini, the President of the Food Products Manufacturers Stefano Piccinini, the President of the Services Group Ernesto Piloni and the President of Young Entrepreneurs Roberto Pace.
