Max Brenner, the restaurant and Chocolate Bar chain, continues to expand in Asia with the inauguration of its first location in China. In parallel, this week the chain opened its fifth bar in Japan. In total, Max Brenner operates over 60 Chocolate Bars worldwide.
The international Max Brenner chain of restaurants and Chocolate Bars, owned by Strauss Group, inaugurated its first location in Beijing, China, on May 1, 2016.
The Chocolate Bar is located in The Place, one of the largest shopping malls in the city’s financial district. The chain concurrently opened its fifth restaurant in Japan this week, near Tokyo Disneyland.
Max Brenner operates 64 Chocolate Bars worldwide, most of them (41) in Australia and the rest in East Asia, the United States, Russia, and, of course, Israel. The chain, which is renowned all over the world as heaven for chocoholics, has redefined the chocolate consumption culture with its unique dishes and variety of beverages.
The new store in Beijing preserves the chain’s unique design, which is maintained in all Max Brenner branches in Israel and internationally. The familiar flagship offerings will be served on the premises, which will also feature a store where visitors can buy the products manufactured at Max Brenner’s main production site in Bet Shemesh, Israel and exported to all over the world.
Mike Avner, Max Brenner chairman and member of Strauss Group management, said: “Max Brenner’s entry to China, in parallel to its concurrent success in Japan, Korea and Australia, has made East Asia and Australia Max Brenner’s key growth driver.
The chain’s penetration of other countries and its growth in those where it is already present are a tribute to Max Brenner’s unique quality and products, both nationally and internationally.”
