Thanks to vertically-oriented flat burrs, a carefully engineered pre-breaker and a geometrically optimized grinding duct, Philos ensures that a constant flow of beans feeds the grinding chamber to get the best result in the cup.
To adapt to different coffee tastes it can be equipped with two sets of hybrid burrs suitable for all extraction methods, from espresso to batch brew.
Philos is very easy to use and to maintain. It can switch from stepped to stepless mode with a simple procedure. The grinding chamber can be accessed with no tools and without losing the grind setting.
The industrial-grade motor, along with premium materials and exceptionally precise component machining, provides long duration over time and high reliability. Silent and compact, it works well on any countertop.
Additionally, Mazzer will present at Host the new Kony Sg. Leveraging the popular Kony S platform, the grinder features a professional built-in-scale to deliver precise and consistent doses while streamlining the workflow. Its load cell is precise, robust, and works to an accuracy of 1/100 of a gram, consistently providing excellent results.
As the other grinders of the S line, Kony S g features the GFC Grind Flow Control system to prevent electrostatic charges in the ground coffee while avoiding any clumping.
The 420 RPM conical burr grinder is designed for medium volume specialty coffee shops. Silent and with low coffee retention, Kony S g delivers well bodied, sweet and balanced extractions.
