SINGAPORE – On Saturday, 2 July 2016, the McDonald’s in Singapore’s East Coast Park will re-open its doors after a four-year closure (PICTURE).
Located close to the old McDonald’s location that opened in 1982 and closed in 2012 due to redevelopment work, it will now serve as a new point of reference not only for families and visitors, but for coffee enthusiasts as well.
With seating for more than 300 guests and a floor area of 8,439 square metres, the new venue has been chosen to launch a preview of new McDonald’s products before their arrival in other stores in the Republic of Singapore.
In short, it is also a testing ground for the wide variety of coffee-based drinks that are prepared with the Rancilio Classe 9 machine and KRYO 65 doser grinder.
The yellow color of the McDonald’s logo symbolises happiness, optimism and joy. Even the Rancilio Classe 9 coffee machine has been specially customised to celebrate the reopening of an iconic and avant-garde venue, where sipping quality espresso will be on the agenda.
