JERSEY CITY, N.J., US – Every convenience store in the United States that sells coffee wants to discover the secrets to increasing coffee category revenue and maximizing profitability.

Industry experts will share best practices for c-stores to achieve just that during a free Convenience Store News webcast, presented by the National Coffee Association of USA (NCA) and Mother Parkers Coffee and Tea.

The hour-long webcast will take place Wednesday, April 2, at 2 p.m. EST.

Building off the record attendance level from their 2013 webcast, this new dynamic session by NCA and Mother Parkers is designed to educate convenience store retailers on how to make sustainability a driver of loyalty and ultimately revenue in the coffee category.

The webcast will address:

  • The differences between c-store and quick-service restaurant coffee buyers.
  • How satisfied, or unsatisfied, c-store coffee buyers are with the product and buying experience.
  • What c-store customers think about sustainability in general.
  • Which sustainability initiatives are compelling to c-store customers.
  • Revenue- and brand-building opportunities.

Exclusive and extensive consumer data based on insights from more 1,200 c-store coffee buyers will be shared, along with facts about the tea category and differences seen in the U.S. vs. Canada.

The webcast will be moderated by CSNews Executive Editor Linda Lisanti and feature two presenters: Diane Ray, vice president of strategic innovation at National Marketing Institute, and John Snell, director of global procurement, product development and sustainability at Mother Parkers.

Ray has 25 years of market research, new product development and strategic consulting expertise.

Snell has more than 30 years of experience in the coffee and tea industry, working in most origin countries as well as with a variety of branded and private label companies in Europe and North America.
