MILAN – The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (Mice) opens today, Thursday 20 March. The show, which runs until Saturday 22nd at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, is one of the reference events for the entire Asia-Pacific region. Companies involved in the entire coffee supply chain – from farming and trading to roasting and machinery – will be exhibiting at the show.
The event will also feature various educational sessions with internationally renowned experts.
MICE will host the GCR Leaders Symposium from 20-21 March, a two-day event in the mornings before MICE, tiered at roasters, business operators and key industry decision markers.
Prime Creative Media Publisher and former Global Coffee Report Editor Sarah Baker will moderate the event, which is set to return after a sold-out 2024 event, with an extended schedule of panel discussions and international speakers.
“MICE has always been an international event, but for 2025 we want to put it firmly back on the international calendar in its original slot in March and that’s where it will stay going forward,” says MICE Show Director Lauren Chartres in an article published on the website of the event.
“Melbourne is the world’s coffee capital, so we’re making MICE the world’s destination for coffee. Moving the expo back to its regular spot in March enables the coffee industry to plan their year around the event and ensure they don’t miss out on the action.”
