Melitta Professional to attend World of Coffee in Copenhagen, June 27-29

Stefanie Heidemann, Manager Training at Melitta Professional: “There are two special reasons for our participation as an exhibitor this year. In addition to our proximity to our neighboring country Denmark, this is the broader perspective on coffee machines. The Latte Art World Championship will be held in Copenhagen for the first time on a fully automatic machine. We are happy to take advantage of this attention and invite the international community of coffee enthusiasts and professionals to explore the options of preparation at the touch of a button with us”

COPENHAGEN, Denmark – The World Coffee Events of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) make a stop in Europe once a year. After Athens 2023, coffee lovers and coffee professionals will be drawn to the World of Coffee in Copenhagen from June 27-29, 2024. Melitta Professional will be there for the first time as an exhibitor. In the “Home of Coffee Lovers”, event guests are invited to experience the ease of various preparation of coffee drinks.

“There are two special reasons for our participation as an exhibitor this year,” reports Stefanie Heidemann, Manager Training at Melitta Professional and most recently participated in the World Barista Championship in Busan, South Korea, as an international judge of the SCA. “In addition to our proximity to our neighboring country Denmark, this is the broader perspective on coffee machines. The Latte Art World Championship will be held in Copenhagen for the first time on a fully automatic machine. We are happy to take advantage of this attention and invite the international community of coffee enthusiasts and professionals to explore the options of preparation at the touch of a button with us.”

At the Melitta Professional stand, among other things, various coffee drinks will be on the agenda. Prepared in different forms with a fully automatic machine at the touch of a button, sometimes espresso-based, sometimes brewed as filter coffee, sometimes as nitro coffee. Michal Ziemlewicz from Melitta Professional Poland brings excellent cocktail expertise to Denmark. The SCA certified barista and long-time coffee expert was Polish runner-up in the SCA competition “Coffee in Good Spirits” in 2019.

But the focus will not be on trained manual work. In Copenhagen, visitors will be able to discover how automation in coffee preparation can be an excellent way to expand the beverage portfolio and at the same time gain time for communication with guests. You can look forward to special taste experiences and get creative yourself with special machine settings that invite you to try them out.

Prepare speciality coffees differently on one machine, process fresh milk and plant-based alternatives perfectly, precisely dosed, variable in foam texture and temperature. And gaining time for communication is expressly desired at the Melitta Professional stand.

“That’s what it’s all about for us: We are looking forward to exchanging ideas with enthusiasts and professionals and are looking forward to the expert feedback”, Michal Ziemlewicz says, looking ahead.

The new CT8plus fully automatic coffee machine and the XT7 fully automatic machine as a 2-step version with the Steam Control plus foam lance for manual latte art from the barista jug will be used. With four grinders, the CT8plus can process four types of beans in parallel, use four different types of milk or milk alternatives with two separate milk systems, and also prepare filter coffee from freshly ground beans using an alternative brewing process.

Booth manager Robin Franke, Chief Product & Solutions Officer at Melitta Professional, will also receive support in Copenhagen from the “Research & Development” team in Minden, where Melitta Professional develops and produces its professional coffee machines. “We are looking forward to looking a little into the future together with our guests. What will be possible and helpful with fully automatic machines in the future?”, Robin Franke is curious. Wherever the individual coffee journey may lead, he has one goal firmly in mind: “To get an excellent result in the cup or glass at the touch of a button.
Welcome to Melitta Professional!”
