DUBAI – The International Coffee & Tea Festival (ICTF) is all set to take place at the Meydan Hotel Gallery, in Dubai, from November 12th to 14th 2014, to engage coffee and tea enthusiasts across the region. As the only dedicated event focused on Coffee, Tea and related products in the Middle East, the show has evolved over the years to include additional elements and attractions for trade professionals, café goers as well as the public at large. ICTF serves as the venue for companies to showcase their products and services to a loyal following of dedicated visitors looking for advancements in quality, technology and service.
Commenting on the anticipation building up around the upcoming show, Maisa F.R., the Business Development Officer at one of the participating companies said, “We at Al Ameed Coffee are very thrilled to be present for the first time as one of the official sponsors of UAE’s first National Ibrik Championship at the International Coffee and Tea Festival, Dubai. Our participation will open doors for those who are interested in coffee roasting techniques, as well as gaining knowledge about our specialty in traditional coffee such as Turkish, Arabic, Greek, and French. We invite the coffee community to join us at the event this year as we look forward to educating coffee lovers from all over the globe.”
The Festival will also feature companies which offer specialized professional services to the region’s booming café industry. “Café Rescue is proud to be a sponsor of the 2014 International Coffee & Tea Festival. As the only Café Consultant Sponsor at this year’s ICTF, we look forward to meeting potential clients as well as establishing relationships with the region’s coffee community. We are extremely excited to be part of this event and wish the ICTF a successful year”, said Jake Toutounji, Managing Director at Café Rescue.
Highlighting the event’s first ever WBC All Stars segment where world barista champions will actively engage with UAE’s eager audience through a series of interactive activities, Olga Mirtova, Marketing Manager at La Marquise International commented, ‘The International Coffee & Tea Festival is going to be the fourth show in a row for La Marquise International. We are truly proud to be the official Espresso Machine sponsor having an opportunity to associate the La Cimbali brand with the only internationally recognized Coffee & Tea Expo in the Middle East. After finding great value in the show for our business, which basically happened from day one, we look forward to the show every year, but probably more than ever, this year! We believe that the 2014 edition will step up on another level by bringing World Barista Champions to share their expertise which will definitely attract even more industry professionals. We can’t wait to meet our existing and potential clients at the Festival and present our premium coffee, tea, syrups and espresso machines to the public.’
The three-day event will also feature a line-up of products originating from different parts of the world, introducing the Middle East market to newer and fresher tastes. “Just in time for this year’s exhibition we have launched our new premium tea brand “Avantcha – Advance of Tea” with over 100 exquisite single origin, organic and blended teas. The collection is complemented by a complete set of tea accessories and Artisan Syrups which are the perfect enhancement for our Iced Tea blends. We are excited for this year’s exhibition as it will attract coffee and tea enthusiasts from all over the Middle East who will appreciate premium quality products,” commented Markus Zbinden, from Bellis General Trading LLC, distributor of specialty and organic teas.
As the only dedicated coffee & tea event in the region, the show annually draws in qualified buyers and industry professionals from GCC territories, the broader Middle East, the Levant region, North and South Africa, the Caspian region and the Indian sub-continent, and other surrounding regions. Visitors benefit from unsurpassed business opportunities at the event which showcases products, services and technological advancements in the production, storage and distribution of coffee, tea and related products. The show is home to an array of industry-relevant features such as UAE’s only National Coffee Championships, the Espresso + Brew Bar and the region’s only internationally recognized Coffee training workshops and certification programs conducted by the world’s largest coffee trade association, the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA).
