DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The International Coffee & Tea Festival, the only dedicated trade event for the coffee and tea industry in the Arab world, is less than a week away. The only internationally recognised Coffee & Tea Expo in the Middle Eas will run from November 6 to 9, 2013 at the Meydan IMAX Gallery in Dubai.
Over the last four years since its inception, the International Coffee & Tea Festival has proven instrumental to the development of the industry, providing professionals and coffee/tea businesses the exposure to promote their products, launch new concepts and seek out new business channels.
Participants will have on display an exciting array of beverage related offerings including Coffee & Tea Supplies, Coffee Roasters, Espresso and Roasting Equipment, Serveware and Tableware, Kitchen and Storage Equipment, and Café Décor and Art Suppliers, to name a few.
The specialized B2B trade show, the Espresso+Brew Bar and the increasingly popular UAE Coffee Championships are key elements that are being anticipated at this year’s event. Moreover, the UAE continues to maintain the highest average consumption of coffee and tea beverages in the region, making it the ideal platform for businesses operating in this industry.
Mohammad Al Rumaitha, Director, Easternmen & Co., commented on the event’s key contribution to the region’s cafe landscape, “As specialists in the coffee and tea industry, we see great potential for growth and development in this sector in the region. This festival is a testament to our beliefs and a sign of a rapidly growing coffee culture.
It is also a very encouraging signal that the interest in the world’s most popular beverages is reaching vital levels, promising to translate to commercial activity and growth. By lending support and being a part of the International Coffee & Tea Festival, we hope to spread the coffee culture both locally and regionally.”
“We participated in the 2012 show, and it really helped increase the awareness of our brands and new products. Besides, it gave us ample chance to interact with clients and industry professionals and be a part of an industry event that has such a great atmosphere and always attracts people who are passionate about what they do,” added Darya Yurkina, Marketing Manager at La Marquise International Company.
“We are proud and excited to launch our espresso machine range in the Middle East and we saw no better platform than the International Coffee & Tea Festival to launch at Synesso holds a strong place in the international world of specialty coffee and has had tremendous success in developing specialty café cultures in Australia, UK, USA, and New Zealand.
International Coffee & Tea Festival has maintained a worthy mission-driven focus on developing the Specialty coffee market in the region and we are proud to support this cause, support the industry and showcase the power and unique value that Synesso has to offer to this market,” said Sandy Schneiter, Owner, Synesso Inc.
Ryan Godinho, National Coordinator for UAE World Coffee Events, concluded, “With each passing year, the event is garnering greater interest as more and more quality companies are vying to build a visible presence in this region, which has also meant that there is more pressure on us to create a platform of impeccable taste and quality.
On our part, we are constantly trying to innovate and create a truly vibrant environment to promote the ‘Third Wave of Coffee’, a movement currently trending towards the production of high-quality coffee with the vision of elevating coffee making to a specialty craft in the mould of chocolate preparation.”
In addition to an extraordinary exhibitor lineup, the upcoming event will feature various Trainings and Workshops certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the UAE Barista Championships, the winner of which will represent the UAE at the 2014 World Barista Championship.
The International Coffee & Tea Festival will also provide an opportunity for coffee companies, roasters and equipment manufacturers to promote their products and interact with customers in a more social setting.
