Miko acquires German-based coffee service company Procon

Frans Van Tilborg, ceo of the company: "Miko already has a fully-fledged subsidiary in Germany with Miko Kaffee GmbH, which is located in Nuremberg. With the acquisition of PROCON, we are today taking a first step in the further expansion of our territorial presence in Germany. TURNHOUT, Belgium – Miko, the Euronext Brussels-listed coffee service specialist, announced the acquisition of PROCON GmbH. PROCON GmbH, based in Magdeburg – Germany, achieves sales of approximately 1.5 million euros with about 10 employees. For a long time, the company has been a distributor of Miko coffee. It places with its clients small and medium-sized coffee and vending machines on loan or rent.

PROCON is mainly targeting the office market. The company also takes technical support to heart, supplying all necessary ingredients, in addition to coffee, milk, tea and hot chocolate
