Myanmar’s coffee is a precious crop among its agricultural products. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation said it expected to increase the coffee acreage to 200,000 and export some 60,000 tonnes by 2030.

Domestic exporters are making concerted efforts to penetrate the international market with quality speciality coffee.

Currently, Myanmar coffee is exported to Switzerland, China, Thailand, America, South Korea, Japan, Germany and Hong Kong, among others.
