CHICAGO, US – “We are finalizing preparations for NAMA’s Public Policy Conference (PPC) in Washington, D.C. scheduled to kick off this Monday,” said Eric Dell, NAMA’s Senior Vice President of Government Affairs. “Our entire team is working together to deliver robust and productive meetings on the Hill.”
“The PPC is an ideal opportunity for our industry to build awareness with this critically important group of stakeholders. NAMA is appreciative of our members who are devoting their valuable time to help build relationships and increase visibility in Washington, D.C.,” he continued.
“Scheduled meetings include visits with the staffs of several House members: Sanford Bishop (D-GA); Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA); Judy Chu (D-CA); Randy Hultgren (R-IL); Chellie Pingree (D-ME); and Sam Graves (R-MO). These meetings are important in expanding NAMA’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry,” Dell said.
Board members, Government Affairs committee members, and Emerging Leaders from NAMA will participate in meetings to discuss key issues including health, nutrition and wellness; electronic payment fees; coin and currency and the effects of federal regulatory expansion.
