CHICAGO – NAMA announced on Monday (January 26, 2015) that it will accept nominations for the 2015 NAMA Industry Awards through Friday, February 13, 2015.
The NAMA Industry Awards are presented to individuals that best exemplify consistent support of the vending, coffee service, micro market and contract food service industry.
Candidates must exhibit a history of service and leadership to their communities and to the industry through active participation with NAMA and state councils.
They must be innovative, possess a willingness to expand conventional practices and follow consistent ethical business standards in accordance with the NAMA code of ethics.
“Gaining the respect of our peers is an achievement we all strive towards, and is one of the most rewarding accomplishments we can earn,” said Marcus Whitener, NAMA’s 2014 Industry Person of the Year.
“That is why being voted NAMA’s 2014 Industry Person of the year was such a meaningful honor. It is an award I remain proud of and will always be grateful to have won,” he concluded.
NAMA members may nominate fellow members for the following awards:
- 2015 Industry Person of the Year
- 2015 Operator of the Year
- 2015 Allied Member of the Year
