BANGKOK, Thailand – Nescafé Thailand has started a collaboration with Big C, Thailand’s second-largest hypermarket operator, to introduce the first-ever “Nescafé In-store Cafe” at the Big C Suksawat location as part of Nescafé’s strategy to expand its out-of-home (OOH) business with its very latest in-store cafe model.
At the Nescafé In-store Cafe, shoppers have a choice of menu items ranging from Americano to Latte Macchiato at great prices, while learning how to make these menu items easily at home using Nescafé products.
In celebration of the launch, Nescafé is also offering a special promotion as part of “Coffee Month.”
Mr. Tawatchai Thungprasitipab, National Sales Manager, Sales Grocery, Nestle (Thai) Ltd., said:
“I am honoured to kick off this one-of-a-kind collaboration between Nescafé and Big C to mark the start of Coffee Month, which takes place at all Big C locations from 26 July until 8 August, 2018. Coffee Month at Big C is more than just a promotion for NESCAFÉ – it also reflects the strong partnership between Big C, the leading hypermarket chain, and NESCAFÉ, Thailand’s number one coffee brand, as we both reward and thank shoppers for their support. For the first time this year, we will open an in-store cafe at Big C Suksawat, which will be open from now until the end of this year for shoppers to enjoy an authentic cafe experience while at Big C. Shoppers at Big C Suksawat can order hot and iced beverages made from a range of Nescafé products and also learn how to make these beverages easily at home.”
Mr. Wichai Benyadilok, Executive Vice President for Big C Supercenter, added:
“As the leading hypermarket brand, Big C is always looking for ways to reward our shoppers with great deals and a superior shopping experience. Working closely with a leading brand such as Nescafé during Coffee Month allows us to tailor our promotions and activities to truly delight our shoppers. In addition to this fun-filled launch event, we also want our shoppers to experience the first in-store cafe by NESCAFÉ, only at Big C Suksawat. On behalf of Big C, I want to thank Nestle and NESCAFÉ for their continued support, and we look forward to working on more projects in the near future.”
