LONDON, UK — As the UK’s love affair with all things gingerbread continues, Nestlé has introduced two exciting limited editions to the nation’s shops this winter. Gingerbread has a long history in the UK, dating back as far as the 18th century to the English town of Market Drayton.
While it’s always been a sweet staple in British kitchen cupboards, recently there has been a boom in gingerbread flavour’s popularity as it’s teamed up with other home staples to create everything from fancy cocktails to decadent chocolates. Joining the gingerbread family for the 2018 season, Nestlé introduces two flavoursome innovations:
- Nescafé Gold Gingerbread Latte – Hot water (never boiling) is all that’s needed to create this delicately spiced latte with a warming gingerbread flavour. Made with high quality coffee and British milk. Proudly crafted by Nestlé in Cumbria.
- Gingerbread Matchmakers by Quality Street – chocolate sticks full of a crunchy blend of milk and dark chocolate with a gingerbread flavour that are free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. Made with pride by Nestlé in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Quality Street Gingerbread Matchmakers are available exclusively at Tesco and Nescafé Gold Gingerbread Latte is available in the coffee aisle in shops across the UK.
