The continuing global demand for roasted coffee in individual portions, the socalled single-serve coffee such as coffee pads or coffee capsules, imposes new challenges on coffee roasters.
To ensure a flexible reaction from their customers, Neuhaus Neotec offer coffee roasters with the new roll grinder WMS-E a grinding solution that fulfils the most demanding product requirements, even under changing batches.
At the Interpack exhibition stand of the North German manufacturer, who is one of the world leaders in the field of roasting machines and roasting plants, interested visitors can have a close look at the new grinder WMS with single drive.
With the newly developed WMS-E Neuhaus Neotec complement their roller grinder series with a model that is optimized for medium grinding capacities with maximum grinding quality and constant capacity.
Apart from the motor, each roller also has its own frequency converter. As a result, each roller can be driven at its own speed: The individual control of each roll regulates the speed individually, so that the fast and the slow side of the roll can be changed.
Due to the flexibly adjustable grinding pressure (roll against product) an adjustment to the new product specifications is possible whenever changing the type of coffee. All parameters can be saved as a recipe for quick adjustment when changing the type.
Optionally, the new grinder WMS-E is available with two or three stages for different throughputs as well as with an integrated compactor which provides high compacting rates from a very space-saving design.
Besides the new roll grinder, Neuhaus Neotec present together with the other companies of the KAHL Group at Interpack 2014 more innovative solutions for the food industry as well as new approaches and projects for the complete coffee treatment process.
Neuhaus Neotec will also exhibit in Düsseldorf flexible plant control systems, programmes and equipment for the quality control for roasted coffee.
