MILAN – Rainforest announces that they will present their newly designed Rainforest Alliance certification seal to partner companies by April/May. The new seal is part of the new brand identity, following the merger between the Rainforest Alliance and UTZ in 2018. It represents a sustainability journey of continuous improvement to reach their mission; creating a better future for people and nature by making responsible business the new normal.
“Our alliance is all about changing the way the world produces, sources and consumes agricultural and forestry products. Together with farmers, companies and consumers we can create the positive change we all want to see. Our new 2020 Certification Program is a step forward on that journey.
A fresh, modernized seal with a sleeker, more dynamic frog on product packaging will show consumers what we stand for and that they can be part of our alliance by making better choices more easily,” says the Rainforest on its website.
Seal use from September 1
Rainforest will provide companies with the graphics for the new seal along with guidance and support documents on how to use it in April/May.
Product packaging with the new seal can be sold from September 1, 2020. In the run-up to September 1, Rainforest will provide companies with marketing support, such as messaging templates to use in consumer and stakeholder communications, both on and off-pack.
