TOKYO, Japan – A new Segafredo Zanetti Espresso cafe opened its doors at Tokyo’s Oji Metropia railway station in partnership with Segafredo’s long-standing franchisee partner TSC Co., Ltd. Located North of Tokyo, Oji is a vibrant residential area.
Oji station is also the closest stop to Asukayama, a public park established about 300 years ago by the 8th Shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa as a cherry blossom viewing spot.
After the Meiji Restoration, Asukayama Park became one of the first parks of Japan, attracting many visitors during the cherry blossom season but also thanks to its historical buildings and museums.
The café is located next to the main train ticket counter, so that passengers can indulge in a perfectly-crafted Segafredo coffee cup while on the way to their final destinations.
