WELLINGTON – Recognising the growth and exciting potential of the Coffee Industry in New Zealand the inaugural Caffeination New Zealand’s first Coffee Festival endorsed by the New Zealand Speciality Coffee Association and in conjunction with Huhtamaki New Zealand Barista Championship, is fast approaching and will appeal to coffee addicts everywhere.
This unique free festival will bring together everyone who shares the love of coffee! Whether you are a businessperson, a construction worker, a mum, or dad or a way too cool for skool Hipster!
We all as a nation share one thing in common our love of it. The nature of coffee guarantees that this will be a high energy event bridging the gap between the at home coffee enthusiast and some of the best in the industry.
Caffeination will give the public a chance to learn more about the humble bean and all its mysteries. We might even be able to improve your own coffee making skills, there promises to be something for everyone.
Caffeination takes place from 22-23 March 2014 held over two days at the newly-refurbished venue Shed 6 on Wellingtons Waterfront.
Caffeination caters for trade and the general public in equal measure.
Organised by Convention Management NZ (CMNZL) it is expected to bring people from all walks of life united by their shared love of coffee.
“It’s an opportunity for the public to get involved in an exciting Industry which is hitting its peak right now, we are expecting a turn out in the thousands and have been blown away by the support and general interest we have received. We believe that we have the most enthusiastic companies from the coffee industry showcasing their products, so come down and be a part of it all” says CMNZL’s Dean Bradley.
We will have some familiar local identities entering our own coffee making competition, which promises to be lots of fun. Caffeination will also feature prize giveaways from the enthusiastic exhibitors, in addition the festival will also be giving away a once in a lifetime prize (during the festival) a “Londinium Expresso Machine” worth $3000.00.
