Esquires Coffee, an international coffee shop franchise from New Zealand, has recently opened its first Romanian outlet in Bucharest reports Romania-Insider.
According to the same source, the chain has plans to open 25 units in Romania over the next five years.
Cooks Global Foods, a company from New Zealand, owns the Esquires Coffee brand, which operates on 12 international markets. In Romania, the franchise will be developed by a local partner supported by the group’s management in Ireland, which is responsible for the business development in Europe.
The branded coffee shop chain in Romania recorded a 30% business growth in 2017. The main international players on this market include Starbucks, Gloria Jeans and McCafé.
