La Marzocco opens a branch office and showroom in Auckland, New Zealand. The premise was inaugurated on October 16. The event was attended by Tom Beaumont, General Manager of La Marzocco Australasia, Tom Handiside, Operations Manager at the new branch in New Zealand, and other members of the La Marzocco team, as part of the Australasian network to locally provide sales and technical support to further meet the demands of New Zealand’s specialty market, to maintain and reinforce its strong coffee culture, and maintain its leadership within the niche.
Representing La Marzocco’s company culture, this new location will be providing education, training and events for the coffee community, giving an on-going opportunity for roasters to serve their coffee, share their industry experience with the public and generate ideas on how to gear quality-coffee businesses towards higher and more sustainable standards.

First office opened in Barcellona
La Marzocco, in collaboration with Elisabet Sereno, coffee expert and business partner, opens La Marzocco Spain in Barcelona. The Iberian branch aims to raise awareness as well as play a decisive role in the country’s emerging specialty coffee movement, by supporting sales and providing education and training for the barista community who may experiment on-site with different types of coffee – single origin and blends – also through La Marzocco’s True Artisan Café format, set in accordance with the company’s goal to uphold the barista profession and elevate the general coffee quality perception. The True Artisan Café will host Spanish and International independent roasters on a rotating basis to showcase their coffees, offer cupping and other specific training sessions.
