The 2014 Melbourne International Coffee Expo ( MICE ) is on again at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds and looks like it’s going to be another huge 4 day event.
This year the World Latte Art, World Cup Tasters and World Coffee in Good Spirits Championships will all be there for the first time in Australia so expect to see some amazing competitions.
Coffee Snobs will take part to the show at stand #93 in the walkway between the Grand Pavilion and the Competition area. This year their stand will consist of:
- Cafelat – The whole range of accessories will be on show and available to fondle and fiddle with. It’s a great chance to spoil yourself with a beautiful quality tamper, knockbox, tamp mat or group handle. Keep an eye out on the stand for Paul Pratt the owner and inventor of Cafelat as he always has something new and exciting in the pipeline.
- Behmor – The soon to be released Brazen Plus coffee brewer will be on display along with the world’s first release of the Behmor 1600 Plus coffee roaster. Limited quantities of the new roaster will available for purchase at the show so bring along your piggy-bank. The inventor and owner of Behmor, Joseph Behm is flying in from the USA to be at MICE for the week so swing by and say g’day and fire off some questions about the exciting new equipment.
MICE is on this week at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds. Thursday 15th May – Sunday 18th May. See: internationalcoffeeexpo.com or the Coffee Snobs website for more details.
