The coffee roaster Löfbergs continues to grow in Finland. In 2013, the sales to hotels, restaurants and cafés went up with 30 %. The number of new customers continues to increase as well. It is now clear that the visitors of Helsinki City Theatre will be served coffee from the Swedish family business.

– It is great that we are gaining ground in Finland, which is one of the countries in the world where people drink the most coffee. That we are a part of Finland’s national theatre is incredibly honouring, says Per Grahn, sales director at Löfbergs.

Helsinki City Theatre was founded in 1964 and is the biggest professional repertoire theatre in Finland with 1,100 performances and 350,000 spectators every year. The serving is run by Sodexo.

– First and foremost, it is about Löfbergs having good and popular coffee. Another advantage is that all coffee comes from organic farming, says Satu Kacer, Restaurant Manager at Helsinki City Theatre.

Many renowned customers

Sodexo, Scandic, Holton as well as a number of well-known restaurants and cafés like Teaterrestaurangen, Café Strindberg, Elite and the restaurants of Hans Välimäki can all be found on Löfbergs’s list of Finnish customers. Löfbergs is also the official coffee partner to Hartwall Arena with approximately 1 million visitors per year.

– We hope and believe that our success in Finland continues. We are making greater investments in hope to attract even more customers, says Per Grahn.
