King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway were served traditional Eritrean coffee during their annual royal tour fylkestur. Each year the royals embark on a tour to selected districts and municipalities to visit, mingle and chat with their citizens.
This year’s royal trip is scheduled to visit the municipalities Møre go Romsdal, Aure, Tingvoll, Gjemnes, Surnadal and Halsa.
In Møre go Romsdal the royals were welcomed by Zsuzi and Askalu from Eritrea and Audi from Somalia who prepared, dressed in traditional Eritrean Zuria, an Eritrean coffee ceremony for the King and Queen.
The King and Queen were delighted and the moment was captured and posted on the official Norwegian Royal Family Facebook page: Konghuset.
