BELFORTE DEL CHIENTI, Italy – The lecture by Professor Chahan Yeretzian ( ZHAW, Zurich University of Applied Sciences – Switzerland), one of the world’s leading experts in the coffee sector, on Monday February 6th, will be followed by a large live international audience, with streaming.

The two experts will present and compare their latest research: Prof. Yeretzian with the latest studies on “Nine different extraction methods”, “Kinetic extraction” and “The Importance of Water” while Professor Vittori will present “Espresso: an important source of health, promoting bioactive molecules”.
These topics are of great interest to the vast world that revolves around coffee beans, which are now the second most internationally traded raw material (after oil), with a value of approximately $80 billion and employing more than 200 million of people.
The event with Professor Yeretzian is the first public event organised by the International Hub for Coffee Research and Innovation, the centre for research and innovation in the coffee industry, established by Simonelli Group and the University of Camerino to provide scientific and technological support to development in the coffee chain.
The headquarters of the centre, in the production facility of Nuova Simonelli, in Belforte del Chienti, will be officially launch next Tuesday.
