NAPLES, Italy – On the occasion of the World of Coffee fair (Milan 23-25 June 2022) Nurri coffee company will present, for the first time in Italy, their lever espresso machine: L-Type SA, where SA stands for Servo Assistita. The L-Type represents the company’s effort and contribution to improving the extraction, also known as “a braccio”, still very popular in Naples.
Nurri Coffee at World of Coffee
This machine has unique features some of which are now patented. The L-Type SA was designed and built by Nurri Evolving Espresso in Naples; a city where over 75% of the bars still use lever espresso machines. In these bars, two baristi who work only one shift can serve over 20 kg of espresso (about 2500 cups). This represents a huge workload with a conventional lever machine.
With these professionals in mind, the main goal of the company was to reduce fatigue by at least 30%, increase operator safety, allow very precise control of the supply water temperature (by PID) and have different temperatures in correspondence with each group thanks to the multi boilers system.
Among the new features of the LSA it is possible to remove the mechanical inlet valve and associated rod and gasket at the rear of the group-head reduces service clicks for the machine.
Furthermore, the pre-infusion is easily adjusted by means of the built-in rotary pump accessible directly from the rear panel. At the fair, in the stand MS-E06 South Hall, it is possible to find the GTO with variable pressure, the Barista Multiple Station and the VDT. And it will be possibile to drink Norri’s coffee in its stand.
