MILAN, Italy – Nurri Evolving Espresso was awarded the ADI Design index for their lever espresso machine: L-Type SA, where SA stands for Servo Assistita. The L-Type represents the company’s effort and contribution to improving the extraction, also known as “a braccio”, still very popular in Naples.
The company states: “We are a young company and we have been working on our first mass-produced machine for about a year. Being included in the highly prestigious ADI Index 2022 was a joy and an enormous honor for us at the same time.”

This machine has unique features some of which are now patented. The L-Type SA was designed and built by Nurri Evolving Espresso in Naples; a city where over 75% of the bars still use lever espresso machines. Among the new features of the LSA it is possible to remove the mechanical inlet valve and associated rod and gasket at the rear of the group-head reduces service clicks for the machine.
