Coffee farming in PNG is generally a family business with women working alongside their husbands but receive no technical information or income for their work.
The CARE funded support program in Goroka works closely with coffee buyers and exporters to ensure gender equitable approaches and to ensure women’s meaningful involvement in coffee activities. Anna Bryan manages the project.
