MILAN – Jab Holding, the Luxemburg-based investment vehicle of the billionaire German family Reimann, is close to striking a partnership with Italian specialty coffee roaster illycaffè, reports Bloomberg.
The deal would likely see Jab-owned Jacobs Douwe Egberts producing single serve aluminium capsules compatible with Nespresso machines for the Italian brand.
The agreement is part of broader cooperation between the companies that could be announced as soon as Monday, Bloomberg also said.
