CHICAGO, U.S. – NAMA announced that Pat Hagerty, CEO of Vistar and Senior Vice President of Performance Food Group (PFG), began his one-year term as Chair of the association’s Board of Directors on July 1.

“We welcome Pat to his role as Chair and know his expertise in convenience services will bring measurable value to the industry,” said Carla Balakgie, NAMA’s President and CEO.

“His leadership in the coming year will build on his longstanding contributions to the association, including his service on the Executive Committee and as a Board Member of the NAMA Foundation.”

“As the incoming NAMA Chair, I’m looking forward to moving the industry forward, building on the strength of the new brand and the opportunities before us,’” said Hagerty.

“This summer, I’ll participate in several state council meetings throughout the country so that I can hear first-hand from NAMA members about their views on what we can accomplish together.”

“Importantly, I join my fellow NAMA members in thanking Howard Chapman for his commitment and service to the industry. Along with Pete Tullio and Mark Dieffenbach before him, he blazed an impressive trail of leadership.”

A native of Colorado, Pat holds degrees from Colorado State University and the University of Southern California, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Founded in 1936, NAMA is the association representing the $25 billion U.S. convenience services industry.
