Paulig Benelux wins Dutch Industributie Awards 2021 in the Rising Star category

MILAN – On January 21st, Paulig in Benelux was honoured with the industry award “Rising Star” 2021. For three consecutive years, Paulig Benelux has been ranked amongst the top 3 in the Rising Star category of the Dutch Industributie Awards. The awards are the result of a research mapping the quality of the mutual cooperation between retail trade and industry. “This is a great recognition from our trade partners and a fantastic reward for our team’s consistent way of working. Together with our partners we have built the Tex Mex category based on a clear category vision and a professional account management approach,” says Arthur Ham, Country Manager at Paulig in Benelux.

Paulig in Benelux: A successful Tex Mex journey

Paulig in Benelux offers Santa Maria Tex Mex and spices as well as Gold&Green plant-based products to both retail and out of home partners. The Rising Star award is given based on the successful work with growing the Tex Mex category in collaboration with retail trade. In 5 years, Paulig in Benelux has doubled its’ sales of Santa Maria Tex Mex and increased the market share from 29% to 46,6%*. Now, Arthur Ham and his Benelux colleagues are aiming for the next big win.

“Of course, our ambition is to ‘outgrow’ the Rising Star category and become a strong player in the Ambient Food category. But even more important is that we continue the successful journey with our customers with the purpose of providing our consumers the best tasting products and concepts,” Arthur Ham says.
