NEW ORLEANS, LA, USA – PJ’s Coffee has found its dance partner for a Mardi Gras Mambo in 2023, with the famous coffeehouse pairing with fellow Louisiana-staple, Rouses Markets, to bring its Zulu Blend and Zulu Roasted Coconut Blend coffees to the masses this carnival season.
In partnership with the popular Krewe of Zulu that has drawn large crowds year after year from its iconic Mardi Gras parade that pays tribute to its members’ African ancestry, these two new blends from PJ’s introduce a bright, smooth medium roast with distinct and festive flavors.
They will be available at all 64 Rouses locations across the Gulf Coast starting later this week and sell through Mardi Gras.
In the spirit of these festive blends, PJ’s Coffee is also joining forces with the Zulu Social Aid and Pleasure Club.
The two iconic brands believe in giving back to the community with a portion of proceeds from Zulu coffee sales going to the Mardi Gras organization so that it can continue to support its good works with various special causes across the New Orleans region.
PJ’s Coffee utilizes only the best quality Arabica coffee, sourcing 14 origin coffees from Sumatra to Ethiopia, Colombia to Papua New Guinea.
