Pooki’s Mahi Founder/CEO Leslie Magsalay-Zeller explains, “I turned a 2018 supply chain FUBAR into an opportunity to reset Pooki’s Mahi operations with a Just In Time (JIT) supply chain model using existing processes, systems, and protected intellectual property (IP) I developed. Pooki’s Mahi mission is to become a ‘Digital Beverage’ known for an efficient supply chain. ‘Digital Beverage’ is a company goal to consistently deliver orders to USA based customers faster without adding a membership fee or requiring a minimum order requirement.”
The Silicon Valley technology executive explains, “First, I redesigned Pooki’s Mahi product packaging to control costs and to meet the two-day transit time. Second, I created a ‘Track My Order’ service providing customers real-time updates for their orders. Location and estimated delivery times are part of the full updates. Third, I improved Pooki’s Mahi fulfillment processes to pick, pack, and ship orders by making existing templates better and easier to audit and analyze.”
Founder/CEO Leslie Magsalay-Zeller overhauled and redesigned Pooki’s Mahi supply chain using her “Digital Beverage Supply Chain” IP. The Silicon Valley-based technology company used more stringent diligence process to qualify suppliers for materials used. Pooki’s Mahi prioritized suppliers that already uses a JIT (Just-In-Time) model for the lengthy manufacturing pilot to test capabilities. Founder/CEO Leslie Magsalay-Zeller regularly audits Pooki’s Mahi supply chain for process improvements, cycle time reduction, materials wasted, and to grade technology platforms.
