Again it is time for the international specialty coffee world to gather at its most important event of the year, the annual World of Coffee: Every year top baristas, coffee enthusiasts, roasters and key players come together at this show to inform themselves about new products and to discuss current international trends in the specialty coffee industry.
A novelty this year: The event management organization WCE (World Coffee Events) will held the inaugural specialty coffee symposium Re:co (Regarding: coffee) simultaneous with World of Coffee, starting one day prior to the exhibition.
Here leading industry professionals, scientists and renowned experts in the fields of sustainability, business and politics from around the world will address latest results in research and cutting-edge innovations in coffee, but also focus on strategic issues impacting the coffee industry.
To underline its commitment to the specialty coffee industry, Probat acts as host of the first Re:co Symposium in Gothenburg from 15th to 16th June and also contributes by providing an expert in research & development.
Under the title “Capabilities and results of online analysis on coffee roast machines” Thomas Koziorowski, Director Product Technology / R&D at Probat, will give a presentation focusing on methods and measuring possibilities which aim to achieve an as precise description and analysis of the different physical and chemical changes during the timeline of the roasting process as possible.
This enables roasters to individually adjust the roasting process according to the recipe wished for.
Probat not only supports Re:co Symposium but also takes the opportunity to exhibit at World of Coffee, where visitors can inform themselves about the Probat shop roaster portfolio at Stand C20 in the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Gothenburg.
