EMMERICH, Germany – Probat, the world market and technology leader for coffee processing plants and machinery, hosts Connecting Markets digital from February 22 – 24. With presentations and demonstrations of the latest forward-looking Probat innovations on environmental, roasting and control technologies, this three-day digital event will be one of the company’s most important information hubs this year.

As face-to-face exchanges are still almost impossible at present due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Probat initiated Connecting Markets digital. This was mainly done against the background of the cancellation of the leading trade fair interpack and in order to maintain a continuous exchange of information with customers about the company’s latest solution developments.

Connecting Markets digital is a virtual information and networking platform, where everyone can follow the individual sessions on the company’s current product innovations, participate actively in the live chat and take the opportunity to get in touch with the PROBAT experts one-to-one. A detailed description of the event and its sessions can be found on www.connectingmarkets.de.

Also, a fast-track booking calendar was implemented into this microsite, which allows for easy direct arrangement of one-to-one online appointments with all Probat contacts on the event days of Connecting Markets digital. After choosing a slot and topic, the meeting with the relevant contact person is booked in automatically. Appointments can be made starting from now.

The sessions of Connecting Markets digital take place on three consecutive days, each dealing with a different trend-setting future topic and each accompanied by a customer story. All sessions are streamed live via the event’s microsite and the company’s social media channels. During the first session the Probat experts take participants on a ride into the world of the Px 120 and the extraordinary possibilities that this drum roaster offers.

The presentation, which also includes a live roasting demonstration, reveals all about the groundbreaking technological features of this roaster and vividly highlights the important role Probat’s in-depth roasting knowledge has played in the development of this unique roasting machine.

The second day will be a deep dive into the world of cloud-based software solutions, during which the attendees learn all about the innovative Probat control options and the opportunities that open up through integration of enhanced new software solutions such as the Fabscale dashboards.

A look into one of the most pressing questions that is currently troubling the global coffee industry concludes Connecting Markets digital on the third event day: How can roasting processes be made more sustainable and energy efficiency potentials be better exploited? The Probat experts deliver the company’s technological answers in this regard. A highlight of this session will be the presentation of an innovative solution for emissions reductions: The so-called Proair system, Probat’s new cooling exhaust air treatment technology, is able to eliminate odors through a patented cold plasma process.

Connecting Markets digital is the kick-off of a series of digital events this year at which Probat will communicate important topics and possible solutions very intensively. All sessions of Connecting Markets digital are streamed live via the event’s microsite and the company’s social media channels. There is no registration required. Everyone is invited to participate actively, either directly in the live chat during the streams or by submitting questions in advance via the form on the microsite or by email at connect@probat.com.
