The Rainforest Alliance, a leading international nonprofit organization committed to biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods, today announced the launch of its #FollowTheFrog Campaign, which kicks off the organization’s 30th anniversary year.
Now through February 12, 2017, the #FollowTheFrog Campaign will empower individuals and businesses to sign on and join the Rainforest Alliance’s global movement to rebalance the world through brand choices and everyday actions to make a positive impact on the planet.
As part of the #FollowTheFrog Campaign, the Rainforest Alliance is inviting everyone to take the #FollowTheFrog 30-Day Sustainability Challenge which will include a simple but meaningful step-by-step guide on how to #FollowtheFrog to a more sustainable tomorrow.
“We are proud to kick off our 30th anniversary year by empowering people to join the sustainability journey through our #FollowTheFrog 30-Day Sustainability Challenge,” said Susan Arnot Heaney, Director of Marketing and Collaborating Company Engagement for the Rainforest Alliance.
“If we each commit to making even small changes in our everyday lives, together we can make a significant positive impact on our planet and create a more sustainable future. Start with 30 days, but keep it going, and together we can help change the world!”
The actions of the #FollowTheFrog 30-Day Sustainability Challenge will help raise awareness of critical issues that affect the health our planet, including water conservation, “green” travel, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, recycling and more.
Every three days, over 30 days, all who sign up will receive an email with simple actions to make a difference—a total of 10 emails with 30 inspiring ideas to echo the Rainforest Alliance 30th anniversary. To sign up for the #FollowTheFrog 30-Day Sustainability Challenge, visit http://www.rainforest-alliance.org/followthefrog.
At the end of the Challenge, each participant will receive a special reward for their commitment to creating a more sustainable world.
Also, those who sign up by February 12th and open all ten Challenge emails will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift bag of Rainforest Alliance Certified™ goodies—food and beverage items, such as coffee, tea and chocolate, personal care products and much more.
