LONDON – Thirty thousand people are ready to pour into the streets of Brick Lane for the new edition of the London Coffee Festival, to be held in the brick enclosure of the Old Truman Brewery in London from 31 March to 3 April 2022. Rancilio Specialty is heading back to the Festival with two RS1s, one black and one white, to present the new technology that helps baristas control the pre-infusion and post-infusion phases to the London public.
Alongside the RS1, the public will be able to discover the new Kryo Evo on-demand grinders from the Rancilio Grindtec line. In addition to the new standard colours for all Silvia models – stainless steel, black, white – the highly anticipated new arrival in the Rancilio Home line is Silvia Pro X, hitting the market with a new portafilter, pressure gauge and soft infusion.
Rancilio Group at the London Coffee Festival
This edition of the Festival will mark a radical turning point for Rancilio Group because, for the first time ever, two fully automatic coffee machines from the Egro brand will also be on display: Next in the Pure Coffee version with iSteam automatic steam wand and Touch Coffee for preparing drip coffee.
Arriving in the temple of Specialty Coffee with fully automatic coffee machines is a courageous choice, supported by a desire to show the public the extraordinary results, in terms of extraction quality, that can be obtained by working with a fully automatic machine.
It will be a challenge in the festival, one more reason to participate, a starting point to discuss new market trends and come together to imagine the future of the entire coffee industry.
This year, the London Coffee Festival is promoting the “Coffee Awards”, an online contest open to all. Rancilio is one of the brands nominated in the “Best all-round traditional coffee machine” category, Rancilio Silvia is nominated in the “Best all-round home coffee machine” category and Egro in the “Best all-round fully automatic coffee machine” category.

Carlos González – Rancilio Group Coffee Competence Manager – will be showing the Festival public the avant-garde extraction technology of Rancilio Specialty and the infinite opportunities offered to baristas by Temperature Profiling, pre- and post-infusion as a way to unleash the potential of every single coffee.
