MILAN, Italy – The new Classe 7 raises the bar for mid-range espresso machines. Designed to always get the best brew out of every coffee, it combines functionality and ergonomics in a modern and elegant look. Equipped with the most advanced brewing technologies developed by Rancilio for single-boiler espresso machines, it guarantees best-in-class thermal stability, precision, reliability, and high energy efficiency. The new Classe 7 is available in two versions. The automatic (USB) version offers four programmable doses, while the semi-automatic (S) version only has a Start/Stop button to manually control dispensing.
The new Classe 7 is equipped with Steady Brew, Rancilio Lab’s patented technology for maintaining a stable water temperature during extraction, and guarantees excellent thermal stability, high reliability and maximum repeatability, during both peak and off-peak conditions. The USB and S versions also come with optional T-Switch, a practical 4-position knob that allows you to set a different temperature for each group (approximately 88°C, 93°C, 96°C or 98°C with boiler set at 1.0 bar) and always have the right extraction temperature for each type of coffee.
The new chromed brass portafilter supplied with the new Classe 7 is designed to accommodate filters up to 21 grams. Practical and ergonomic, it is designed to balance weight and to ensure maximum stability when tamping and can be customised. The X-Tea function is also available as an optional extra, allowing you to adjust two water doses, while also adjusting the temperature via the display interface.
The USB version is also equipped with a digital display that makes it easier for the barista to manage the main machine settings, such as adjusting the coffee dose and starting the cleaning cycles.
The soft-touch control panel with backlit icons and the remastered lighting system, with LED lights under the groups and an RGB light line on the front of the group covers, have been developed to amplify the brightness of the worktop and make it easier for the barista to work.
The use of high-quality materials such as mirror-polished stainless steel and the use of thermoplastic compounds give Classe 7 a unique and distinctive style that adapts well to any interior setting. The front panel is reinforced next to the groups with bumpers, designed to protect the panel from being accidentally knocked when the barista is inserting and removing the portafilter from the group. The new stainless steel cup tray makes cleaning easier and reflects the brightness of the lights under the brewing units.
The use of mirror-polished stainless steel for the control panel, the front panel, and the rear of the body and the chrome and zinc-plated group covers are the finishing touches to this dynamic and ergonomic restyling. The new Classe 7 is available with side panels in 3 different colours: ice white, anthracite black and stone grey.
The Classe 7 will go into production in January 2022.
