MANCHESTER, United Kingdom – On Saturday, 12 November, all the coffee lovers in and around Manchester will meet in Salford to attend the Barista League event, sponsored by Rancilio Specialty. As usual, this special evening is more than just a competition. It is a unique gathering with the perfect dance music and coffee from the best roasters in the area. In other words, it’s the party that we all dream of being invited to every weekend.

The twelve most courageous bartenders from Greater Manchester, divided into six pairs, will go up against one another in three coffee-themed rounds. Only one pair will win the final prize, but all will have the opportunity to try out the technology of the Rancilio Specialty RS1, the official coffee machine of all of the Barista League’s competitions.
The jury will be made up of: Lisa Dawson from Dear Green Coffee Roasters, Andrea Otte from Caravan Coffee Roasters, Mel Dabbs from Well Grounded, Oli Jones from Blossom Coffee Roasters, Sean Fowler from Heart and Graft Coffee Roastery, and Mika Johnson from Yas Bean.
