SANTA ANA, California – Visitor registration is now open for the 2020 Specialty Coffee Expo taking place April 23-26 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, USA. Now in its 32nd year, the Specialty Coffee Expo is the largest gathering of specialty coffee professionals in North America, attracting over 14,000 visitors and featuring dozens of lectures, workshops, courses, and coffee competitions.
Features at Expo
Over 500 exhibitors showcase their most innovative products services at Expo and compete for the show’s Best New Product and Design Lab awards.
On the Expo show floor, visitors can network with professionals from across the industry, including producers, importers, and baristas at the Cupping Exchange, hear from coffee researchers in the Scientific Poster Session, and meet coffee roasters from around the globe in the Roaster Village & Market, located alongside the U.S. Coffee Championships in the activities hall.
Those seeking educational experiences will find dozens of lectures by industry experts as well as workshops and courses from the SCA’s educational programs, covering a wide array of topics of interest to coffee professionals.
2020 U.S. Coffee Championships
The 2020 Specialty Coffee Expo will host three of the 2020 U.S. Coffee Championships, organized by the staff and volunteers of the SCA USA Chapter.
Dozens of coffee professionals from across the United States will compete in Portland in the U.S. Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, the U.S. Cup Tasters Championship, and the U.S. Roaster Championship.
The champions of each of these events will move on to the World Coffee Championships in Warsaw, Poland.
Registration and Hotels
Early bird registration rates to Expo are available until February 27 and visitors may take advantage of special hotel rates by booking their rooms through the Expo reservations department.
