VASCON DI CARBONERA, Italy – The highly anticipated Specialty Coffee Association Expo in Chicago hosted the North American launch of the D8: Sanremo Coffee Machines’ latest creation. From April 12th to the 14th, professionals and coffee enthusiasts from the USA and Canada had the opportunity to discover the new Sanremo’s single boiler platform, launched into production simultaneously with the Chicago Expo.
Sanremo Coffee Machines in Chicago
D8 is a highly customizable platform both in terms of technical set-ups and aesthetics, enabling coffee enthusiasts to create the ideal machine for their requirements, adapting it to the unique style of their venue or brand.
Designed with the aim of providing unique performance in the range of single boiler machines, D8 stands out for its “hybrid” hydraulic management system, which allows the independent temperature control for each group. Thanks to this hybrid system, it will be possible to perfect coffee extraction in every phase and simultaneously achieve maximum performance in steam production.
The new Sanremo Internet of Things (IoT) technology also enables the remote setting of all machine parameters via an app, monitoring its performance from afar, and modifying settings in real-time, wherever you are.
Thanks to the technological DNA inherited from the beloved Café Racer, the stainless steel (AISI 316L) boiler, high thermal stability, and its extreme versatility, Sanremo’s latest innovation promises to shake up the status quo of the single boiler segment.
“We are already receiving plenty of requests for D8, and several US partners are eagerly awaiting to see it live,” announces Carlo De Sordi, CEO of Sanremo Coffee Machines “It was a pleasure to welcome visitors at our stand in Chicago to reveal all the machine’s customization options”.
“D8 will meet the needs of a wide range of professionals, business types, and environments.” explains De Sordi “Its modular design allows for a nearly tailor-made layout, in colors, panels, and LED lighting, offering a unique coffee-making experience”.
During the 3 days of the SCA Expo, the Sanremo stand was a hub of experimentation and discussion. Over 20 roasters and experienced baristas took turns throughout the event for tasting and testing sessions on the D8: a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore all its potential in advance.
