TREVISO, Italy – On November 20th in Taipei, the 2023 World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) concluded.
This event also marked the culmination of a collaboration between the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and Sanremo Coffee Machines, serving as sponsors of the championships and providing the official machine, the Café Racer.
The story began in Brazil in 2018, and over the course of 6 years, it has been filled with exciting experiences on stage and, especially, in the training area, alongside champions and specialists with whom to share passions and emotions.
Sanremo Coffee Machines and SCA in Taipei
In addition to supplying the equipment, the sponsorship involves supporting the competitors with a team to ensure maximum efficiency in using the machine. The interaction between coffee specialists and Sanremo experts has been the true essence of the sponsorship: sharing knowledge about coffee and mutual discussion about equipment. This relationship has generated enthusiastic energy for refining products and inspiration for new projects.
For Sanremo Coffee Machines, it has undoubtedly been a privilege to allow participants to experience and convey the secrets of their machines while breathing in the vibrant atmosphere of the competitions.
At the end of each event, there has always been great fatigue but certainly greater satisfaction and the certainty of enrichment.
Carlo De Sordi, CEO of Sanremo Coffee Machines, personally thanks the SCA, all the enthusiasts met over the years, his team that supported the competitions, and the customers and distributors who supported them in various global stages. He expresses the hope that in the future, there will be other opportunities to share new challenges.
