Following news that both Puerto Rico and certain states in Mexico have been devastated by natural disasters, the Specialty Coffee Association, SCA is calling on members to come together to support the coffee communities in both countries.

Volunteers and staff of the SCA and the Guilds have reached out to members in these regions to express sympathies and extend full support.

If you or someone you know in the Puerto Rican or Mexican coffee communities have been affected by the natural disasters, please get in touch with us.

Coffee communities around the world are coming together to raise funds for general relief efforts.

As always, specialty coffee professionals are supporting one another and we encourage all SCA members to participate in these activities.

To complement existing campaigns, the SCA is searching for organizations that are specifically working to support the coffee sector in each country.

We hope to help amplify their message and connect them to professionals within the SCA’s membership who are willing and able to volunteer their skills and time to help the Puerto Rican and Mexican coffee communities recover.

If you are a professional interested in supporting relief efforts for the coffee sectors in these two countries, please let us know by submitting your information using this form.

If you are the representative of an organization providing support and relief to the coffee communities in Puerto and Mexico, please get in touch by emailing community@sca.coffee.

SCA We will be updating members with the latest news on these efforts via email, social media, and on its website at www.scanews.coffee.
