LONDON- UK – The Barista Guild of Europe (BGE) and Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) have begun the search for a new Barista and Roaster Guild Coordinator to assist the current staff in running these two essential initiatives within the speciality coffee community.
This full-time career opportunity will be based in Europe and requires a highly motivated and well-organised individual to help drive forward the projects and events of both Guilds and involves providing support in all aspects of the day-to-day running of both Guilds, including event planning and production, fundraising, marketing and communications, and administration.
Barista Guild of Europe (BGE) is dedicated to building the role of the barista through professional and community development. It is led by an annually elected working group and was founded as part of the Membership Committee of SCAE.
The new Roaster Guild of Europe — to be launched by SCAE in 2016 — will follow in its footsteps to create a professional platform for the roaster community in Europe.
