Panamanian gourmet coffee producers made business transactions of up to $400,000 during their participation at SCAJ 2014, Japan’s largest coffee fair, which took place at Tokyo Big Sight on September 24-26.
“The results were very productive, we established 50 business contacts and 10 confirmed purchases of more than 10,000 pounds of coffee, worth $400,000,” said Nestor Gonález, Panama’s vice minister of Foreign Trade.
“Fairs are a great window for trade, as well as for establishing ties between businesses and buyers,” said Melitón Arrocha, Minister for Trade and Industry.
