Marco Caira from Visocchi’s café in Dundee scooped the first prize at the 2014 Scottish Italian Awards, held on Sunday, October 26. Marco picked up the award, in front of celebrity chef Aldo Zilli and the hundreds in attendance at the Thistle Hotel in Glasgow.
The 28-year-old impressed judges with his ‘Signature Beverage’ – so much that they awarded him 60 marks out of a possible 60.
It is yet another accolade to add to the growing collection at Visocchi’s, having been named the best ‘Ice Cream Parlour in Scotland’ last year.
