MILAN – Segafredo Espresso Cafe has recently opened its first outlet in Matsuyama, Japan. Matsuyama is the largest city on Shikoku island and the capital of Ehime Prefecture. At the heart of the city stands Matsuyamajo, a beautiful, unique castle.
This Cafe is located in the center of the historical business district of Sanbancho, 200m from Matsuyama-shi Station and 800m from Matsuyama castle.
In Sanbancho, there are many government offices like Ehime prefectural government’s office, Matsuyama city office and Bank of Japan’s Matsuyama branch.
As many other Segafredo Espresso Cafe, this projects was born thanks to the passion of Mr. Naoki Ikawa , president of Dining Concierge: he wanted to bring back in his hometown the cozy, cross cultural atmosphere that he experienced during his travelling all over the world. In Italy they say “Chi ben comincia è a metà dell’opera!” or in english “Well begun is half done!”.
The grand opening of the Segafredo Espresso Cafe has been warmly welcomed: 3 local TV stations and 5 local business papers, magazines and news websites where present at this event…a great way to start!
